  1. Maruyama Park (円山公園）→　Cherry blossom is almost in full bloom: (as of 3/24/2023)

・Maruyama Park is adjacent to Yasaka Shrine.

・Famous for a weeping cherry tree (shidare zakura しだれ桜）

　→Starting tonight; March 24th till April 9th Sunday: Shidare Zakura is going to be lit up from 6pm to10pm.

Main area for cherry blossom viewing in the park.

There are many food stands lined up and prepared for the event in Maruyama Park.

2. Gion Shinbashi (祇園新橋)　→　Cherry blossom is partially in full bloom: 　（as of 3/24/2023)

・Approximately 5 minutes north of Gion main street.

・Traditional townscape along the river with a relaxed atmosphere.
