Today’s Kyoto (Fall 2022) Nanzenji Temple(南禅寺)
Nanzenji Temple is the head temple of the Nanzenji School of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism, founded in 1291 by Hōhō Kameyama with Zen master Mukan Fumon as its founder.
It is famous for its autumn foliage, which attracts many visitors every year.






There are Kyoto City Zoo, Heian Shrine, and a museum neaby, making a full day of sightseeing possible in this area.
