Kinkakuji Temple (金閣寺), City of Kyoto

Kinkakuji Temple is probably the most famous and popular tourist attraction in Kyoto.

The Golden Pavilion underwent restoration work in 2020 and looks more glorious than ever.

It is so beautiful from all angles that you may be tempted to point your camera at it, but I urge you to take a closer look with your own eyes^^

There is this area where you can try your luck by tossing coins.

This is an old tea room : It was founded in 1624-1644 and rebuilt in 1874.

Kinkakuji Temple is usually a very crowded tourist attraction, so I recommend that you visit in the morning when there are fewer people.
